This is a picture of my aunt, Uranie Phillipe, in the late 60's when she was sewing & teaching others how to sew in her home in Haïti. She, and the women in my life, are the original Kréyol Women & the inspiration behind this brand. This season, as she is getting older, I am PAUSING (which is unheard of in our society) - taking some time to be with her, with family, with myself & with God. The beauty of entrepreneurship is that we get to design the lives we imagine for ourselves. SO. I hope to see you back here in the Spring for NEW Kréyol hotness!! .... until then... Joëlle
